Toe-Tapping Saul
October 10, 2014  | By Eric Gould  | 1 comment

Here’s the first sneak peek at AMC’s backstory spinoff about Breaking Bad crook lawyer Saul Goodman, Better Call Saul. Perhaps meant to be the show’s theme song (performed by Junior Brown), it’s an intentionally campy look at Saul’s media-mongering lawyering to the two-bit criminal audience who needs him. The series brings together Breaking Bad producers Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, along with some of the original BB writers, and looks at the six years of Saul Goodman’s career before he meets Walter White. As the lyrics go, “When your back’s to the wall… better call Saul.”  Should be a wild ride for ardent Breaking Bad fans... –Eric Gould

Hilarious! I hope I don't spoil the new show by having too high of expectations.
