History Channel has released its trailer for Season 5 of Vikings at the recently finished Comic Con – the new season without its lead character Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) who came to the end of the line last year. The series, surprisingly, didn’t suffer a setback without Ragnar in the few final episodes of Season 4, and the new season preview here – steeped in Vikings’ trademark art direction – seems to guarantee fan interest. Season 5 will continue the legend of Ragnar’s sons by second wife Aslaug, and their war against his first, dethroned queen Lagertha (Kathryn Winnick). –Eric Gould
