"What does X over the square root of 31 taste like?”
December 1, 2013  | By Eric Gould

TVWW looks at the new multi-channel interactive music video for Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone” this week and its director, 27-year-old Israeli video artist Vania Heymann, who started out with a number of shorts going viral on YouTube. With the Dylan premiere it’s been a good year for Heymann, who also got over one million YouTube hits on this commercial for Israel’s Maccabee beer. It features an Obama-like American president on television (Isaiah Mustafa, the über-smug, good-smelling dude from the 2010 Old Spice commercials) who gets the attention of one unsuspecting bar customer who has never tasted the beer. The President waxes philosophical, asking, “Have you ever tasted a snowflake that fell on your sweetheart’s nose? What does X over the square root of 31 taste like?” Of course, the customer’s next sip has world-wide effects. –EG
