Zen and the Art of Rust Cohle
March 13, 2014  | By Eric Gould

We all have known that person who just goes naturally for the downbeat. But our guess is not many of them can cipher off the existential effluence as done by Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) in True Detective. The creative minds at Vulture.com have compiled a supercut of Rust's philosophies that go deep...and then, of course, much deeper. Equally enjoyable are the reactions of Woody Harrelson as Marty Hart. His look of exasperation is understandable. Then priceless. -- Eric Gould
