Gotham has returned with a gloomy darkness indeed: Ed Nygma is now costumed in green and demanding to be called The Riddler. The still-future Penguin, in hiding and nursed from his near-fatal gunshot wound by the future Poison Ivy, is seen mostly in hallucinations as a figment of the Riddler’s imagination. And young Bruce Wayne’s doppleganger is moving in to take over his life – again – this time as a pawn put in play by the sinister Court of Owls.
