AMERICAN MASTERS: “RICHARD LINKLATER: DREAM IS DESTINY”
PBS, 9:00 p.m. ET
This new installment, about Boyhood director Richard Linklater, portrays him as a persistent but malleable movie individualist – going his own way, and making his own rules, but basically going wherever the flow, and the opportunities, take him. It’s an interesting study, and the contemporaneous interviews, with Linklater and his many devoted stars (Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke among them), are the best part.
