SEASON PREMIERE: This is the Season 36 opener for Nature, so this particular PBS series has been around for quite a while. And tonight, it devotes itself to following the birth and early life of an elephant, where workers at Botswana’s Abu Camp work hard to raise the elephant baby to be strong enough to release back in the wild. It was born, by the way, after 661 days of pregnancy. So if you’ve recently had a baby, or are having one, don’t dare make any elephant comparisons. In gestation terms, arguably, you had it easy.
