Two potentially explosive events take place in tonight’s show. First, Howard shares his old science stuff with Sheldon and Raj, which leads to a road trip to the desert to set off a vintage model rocket. The more incendiary event, however, may be Penny’s befriending of Leonard’s mother (played, as always, by Christine Baranski) – much to Leonard’s understandable displeasure.
