A SHOT IN THE DARK

I’m especially curious to revisit this 1964 comedy, the second in the delightful series of Pink Panther movies starring Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen it – and while I have delightful memories of watching it with my father at a drive-in when I was 10, and having us both laugh uproariously at Sellers’ accent and antics, I remember it as a black-and-white film, and many of the available photos on the Internet are in color. I’ll be watching to learn hue’s right – and also, from my much, much older perspective, to appreciate co-star Elke Sommer more in the way my dad did at the time. Especially in the nudist colony scenes.
