Robert Kirkman has presented two episodes of his documentary series on comics so far, and been very democratic in his focus: the premiere episode was on the origin and development of Marvel Comics, and the second gave the same treatment to Wonder Woman from the rival DC Comics universe. Tonight’s third episode is devoted to another DC costumed superhero, the iconic Superman – who first appeared, on the cover of Action Comics #1, 80 years ago. Eighty. How old do you feel now?
