DOCTOR WHO: TWICE UPON A TIME
December 25, 2017  | By David Bianculli  | 2 comments

BBC America, 9:00 p.m. ET

There’s a double goodbye in this year’s annual holiday Doctor Who special, which makes it even more noteworthy than usual. It’s the final appearance by Peter Capaldi, who’s the twelfth actor to play the title role in this long-running series – and it’s also the final script by Steven Moffat, who’s been running the show brilliantly for years now. But there are firsts, too: It’s the first appearance by the 13th Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker – the first woman to play the role of the time-traveling, shape-shifting Time Lord.

I, for one, am excited! The travelers with Dr. Who have been of all shapes, sizes, and varieties. Now it's time to have some fun with a new Doctor!
And what a great pick!

A shame Doctor Who has caved into the left wing, progressive Politically Correct & Social Justice Warriors crap and have now made a once great icon of popular culture a "woman"...I will skip this one, and wait for the 14th Doctor

And so, the cultural dinosaurs trudge past the meadows of the future where women (gasp) assume historically male roles, and the 'Doctor Who' asteroid explodes and eradicates them all...
