SEASON PREMIERE: Season 6 of this excellent period spy show begins tonight, and the fact that it’s been announced as its final season only adds to expectations, and to the tension. When last we saw sleeper Soviet agents Elizabeth and Philip Jennings, he was getting out of the spy business, just as their teen daughter Paige was beginning to go all in. As tonight’s episode begins, it’s three years later, which brings us in the show’s storyline to 1987. The Berlin wall is only a few years from coming down, but in the Jennings household, barriers are getting bigger and thicker. There are too many strong surprises in this opener to spoil, but one thing is certain: Watch this hour as an invested viewer, and by the time it’s over, you’ll be asking yourself the same question as several of its characters: Whose side am I on? For full reviews, see Alex Strachan's TV That Matters and David Hinckley's All Along the Watchtower.
