SEASON PREMIERE: Last season, Billy Bob Thornton won his big case, besting the Goliath of an opponent in this new courtroom series from David E. Kelley. For Season 2, Thornton returns as William McBride, who hasn’t exactly been spoiled, or improved a lot, by his in-court victory. The best news: Still at his side for this new season is his feisty assistant, played so winningly by Nina Arianda (pictured, with Thornton).
