AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE
October 17, 2018  | By David Bianculli  | 1 comment

FX, 10:00 p.m. ET

The title of tonight’s episode is “Return to Murder House,” which makes official what has been obvious in this show’s latest cycle: Apocalypse is finding a way to tap into several of this series’ previous season-long narratives. And since the so-called Murder House is where AHS began, and where it was set that influential first season, tonight’s episode completes the circle… but with more episodes to come.

Why this goofy series gets so much attention is beyond me.

Right now, as we speak, one of the best shows this year...by far...is on Netflix and it's a MUCH better horror story, along with family drama, than AHS ever was: The Haunting of Hill House. Why hasn't anyone on this site talked about it yet?

It's a slow burn, but it builds up as it should. Unlike AHS that wants to stuff a seasons worth of story into a single episode, then do it again the next episode. It's infuriating. It's like TV for ADS sufferers.
