Fresh off their respective wins for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy, series co-creator Bill Hader and co-star Henry Winkler returned for Season 2 last week firing on all cylinders. Hader’s Barry revealed, via flashback, the moment during his wartime sniper duty when he took his first life – and second, and third, in short order. And Winkler, as his local theater acting coach, was so impressed by the raw honesty that he decided not to disband his acting company. Good thing, because Barry is one of the freshest comedies on TV right now.
