The Orville has been absent from Fox for a while – not long enough to label this an official series return, but long enough to note, especially for fans of the show who may have wondered where this affectionate Star Trek homage/salute/spoof has gone. It’s here – and returns tonight, with its first of three final episodes this season, with an episode in which the crew of the Orville finds itself embroiled in a war.
