SERIES PREMIERE: Chris Lilley, the chameleonic writer-actor from Summer Heights High and Angry Boys, once again shows up with a sketch series in which he plays a variety of outrageous roles opposite less flamboyant co-stars. One of his six characters this time around is a lesbian dog psychic (based on the first two episodes, I’m pretty sure it’s she, not the bitches, who are lesbians). Another is… well, tune in for a sample, if you’re interested. I’m very impressed by his talent at impersonation, but not so much by his improv one-liners. When I watch a sketch show featuring, say, Tracey Ullman , I laugh out loud. Here, I just tend to watch.
