1969

ABC, 10:00 p.m. ET

There’s conflicting info about what will be presented in tonight’s second episode of ABC’s new documentary series about the year 1969. On-air promos at the end of last week’s premiere promised an hour about Ted Kennedy, Chappaquiddick and Mary Jo Kopechne – respectively, the politician driving the car that veered off a bridge and overturned in the water, the place of the accident, and the drowning victim who was the car’s only other passenger. Other listings refer to tonight’s content as being about Charles Manson and the “Helter Skelter” massacre. Either way, it’s a dark hour for, and on, 1969.
