Today’s edition of 20/20 is scheduled to be a special devoted to “Roseanne – The Return,” examining the impending comeback of one of the network’s all-time biggest sitcom hits, Roseanne. Taking part in interviews are former – and future – series regulars Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman and Sarah Chalke, who in the original series portrayed the working-class Conner family (including, in the case of Goranson and

This final season of Portlandia has been lots of fun, and I’m sure its creators and stars have had lots of fun carrying out one last batch of clever craziness. Take, for example, “Sinkles,” the theme restaurant to make lonely singles feel at home, even when they’re eating out. This theme restaurant doesn’t have tables for one. It has individual working sinks, where diners can stand over to munch morosely on whatever leftovers are brought by the restaurant staffers.

A lot of shows bill themselves as unusual love stories and to be fair, a lot of them are. You’ve still never seen one quite like This Close...

Once again, NBCSN is wall-to-wall today, going with 24 uninterrupted hours of coverage, some of it live, from early morning today until the same time tomorrow. Among today’s highlights: live coverage of USA vs. Slovenia in men’s ice hockey (starting at 6:30 a.m. ET), and live coverage of USA vs. Canada in women’s hockey (starting at 10:10 p.m. ET). Oh, and though coverage is taped, at 12:30 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents the match between USA and Great Britain in women’s curling

SERIES PREMIERE: SundanceTV’s streaming platform, Sundance Now, presents its first original TV production with this six-episode series, based on a web series called Fridays. Both are created, written by, and star Josh Feldman and Shoshannah Stern – who, like the characters they play, are deaf. In This Close, Stern plays a Hollywood publicist, whose boss (played by Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Cheryl Hines) barely makes an effort to accommodate her hearing-impaired employee. NBC presents Olympics events today, after its Today extended coverage, from 3-5 p.m. ET, and again from 8-11:30 p.m. ET and 12:05-1:30 a.m. ET. Live events figure prominently in tonight’s prime-time block, include the reliably scheduled pairs’ gold medal final in figure skating – and, weather permitting, live skiing events as well.

In tonight’s new Episode 5 of this American Crime Story miniseries, we finally get to spend a little more time with Edgar Ramirez and Penelope Cruz as Gianni and Donatella Versace (pictured). But, as with most of this series, the focus is primarily on flashbacks following Gianni Versace’s killer, Andrew Cunanan, played by Darren Criss. Tonight, Cunanan meets Naval officer Jeffrey Trail, played by Finn Wittrock – who, like Criss, has worked with Assassination of Gianni Versace e

NBCSN is wall-to-wall today: 24 uninterrupted of coverage, some of it live, from early morning today until the same time tomorrow, at which time the cycle begins again. Highlights will vary according to your interests, but mine includes the live coverage, at 7:10 a.m. ET, of the USA women’s hockey team facing the Olympic athletes from Russia – competing individually, not representing their nation, because of Russia’s official exclusion from this year’s Winter Games. Also,

On NBC, the scheduled live coverage for outdoor events is held hostage to the already inclement and unpredictable weather, so both women’s alpine skiing in the slalom, including the gold medal run, and the gold medal final in the halfpipe for men’s snowboarding may be postponed. But the pairs’ short program in figure skating will proceed as scheduled live in prime time, in the 8-11:30 p.m. ET NBC block. Coverage also runs on the network today from 3-5 p.m. ET and from 12:05-1:3

Before Wall Street crashed in the 1920s, it exploded. In 1920, Morgan Bank, then the world’s biggest financial institution, was targeted by that era’s equivalent of a car bomb: a horse-drawn cart filled with dynamite. The resultant explosion killed 38 people (and, presumably, at least one horse). The brazen act of violence, and the determination to solve the crime, helped launch the career of a young investigator named J. Edgar Hoover – but the motives, and the perpetrators, pr
