The Simpsons have had a long line of guest stars, from James Earl Jones to Elizabeth Taylor. For this Sunday night's season finale (May 20th, 2012) on Fox, 8:30 p.m. ET. Lady Gaga goes to Springfield, in "Lisa Goes Gaga". As a long time champion of the socially downcast, she arrives to encourage Lisa to just be herself, and perform for the town...and sing about accepting monsters, among other things.

This 2006 Wachowski Brothers movie is a somewhat seditious selection by BBC America, since it’s all about a futuristic totalitarian British state overthrown by rebel forces tied to that country’s history of anarchy. This week’s report gives new meaning to the term “get the lead out”: Nick Koenig, one of the surviving victims of a deadly home invasion in St. Louis in 2009, has been carrying around a bullet from that frightening night, lodged in the base of his skull and considered inoperable. Last month, Keonig was in a car accident – after which he coughed up something irritating in his throat, which turned out to be that bullet. And that’s only one of the amazing stories tie

This day in 1996 marked Mystery Science Theater 3000's final outing on Comedy Central. The cult series revolved around a man (and his robot friends) who were trapped on a space station and forced to watch bad sci-fi movies. Throughout the presentation of the featured film, the motley crew could be seen in silhouette, providing a colorful commentary about what was happening on the screen...
