In this special, the Mythbusters gang tests shark myths from the 1975 movie Jaws. I wouldn’t myth this for the world… and I’m gonna need a bigger TV set.

How, exactly, did former NBA player Dennis Rodman strike up a friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un? And, more to the point, why? This documentary examines that bizarre set of questions, which led to an international sports exhibition that played out both on a basketball court and in the court of public opinion.

Not to slight the panelists on tonight’s show (though I’m about to do just that), Bill Maher’s most interesting guests tonight come early and late. His opening interview is scheduled to be with EPA administrator Gina McCarthy, and the mid-show special guest is Judd Apatow.

More comedic, less filling, Orange is the New Black’s main storyline in Season 3 ends up being far less compelling than Season 2’s reign of terror by Yvonne “Vee” Parker or the inaugural year’s immersion of tenderfoot Piper Chapman...

With Ted 2 hitting theaters, maybe no one needs a reminder of just how funny 2012’s original Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg and written and directed by Seth MacFarlane (who also voices the teddy bear Ted), was. It’s got some laugh-out-loud moments, some that go by so quickly you almost require a second viewing to enjoy it all. So whether or not you’ve seen Ted before, enjoy it now… if only for the stripper names.

SEASON PREMIERE: Season 3 of Under the Dome begins with our heroes, and villains, still… under the dome. But not all of them. Some have escaped to the outside, and some outside agitators have found a way in – thanks to those mysterious underground tunnels. As opposed, I guess, to overground tunnels… but I digress.

The big shocker about Wayward Pines was revealed to Ethan recently – but the shocker, to me, is that Fox hasn’t canceled this series in midstream. Yet that’s only one opinion. For another, see Alex Strachan’s TV That Matters.

Part 3. Tonight’s installment, Peace with Honor, is all about Vietnam, and how the U.S. finally extricated itself from a war it could not, or at least did not, win.

SEASON FINALE: The final two episodes of Season 1 of The Comedians are presented tonight as a doubleheader – with the second episode detailing what purports to be the last day of the TV show within a show for Josh Gad and Bill Crystal… but if it is, there’s no show without the show.

I ought to post a Best Bet whenever Crackle offers a new weekly installment of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee during its streaming season, because they’re always wonderful, always entertaining, and invariably worth the time. This week’s new installment, available starting today on the Crackle website, features Seinfeld trading memories, one-liners and wry observations with none other than Bill Maher. At one point, Seinfeld tells Maher that he’s really e
