SERIES PREMIERE: How many Daily Show correspondents have graduated to their own TV talk and/or topical comedy shows? Let me count the ways: There’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO. There’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS. There’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central. And now, starting tonight, there’s Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS. Four very funny people. Four shows. Four networks. And counting… For an interview with Samanth

When my daughter, Kristin, was very young, one of the first (and then only) things we let her watch on TV was PBS’s Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, because it was so positive, safe, and lovingly interactive...

Mary’s in love, Barrow’s in tears, Carson’s pushing his luck, Daisy’s losing her manners, Isobel’s weakening, Lord Grantham’s bored and if looks from Violet could kill, pretty much everyone would be dead...

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders made a much anticipated appearance this weekend on Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by his doppelganger, Larry David. It was the parody of David's HBO Curb Your Enthusiasm which stole the show. Entitled (of course) "Bern Your Enthusiasm," it melded the fictional David with Sanders after his narrow loss of the Iowa Caucus...

Today’s game should be referred to as Super Bowl L, really, but the NFL has decided to ditch the Roman numeral system this year only. (Perhaps the League, this year, should call itself the NF as a show of non-support.) Anyway, the year’s big game finally arrives today. The Denver Broncos battle the Carolina Panthers for the Super Bowl title, but it’s also a big battle of the quarterbacks: veteran Broncos QB Peyton Manning, playing what might be his last game, vs. Panthers QB Ca

If you want a break from the big game, or aren’t interested at all, this annual Animal Planet counter-programming event might well serve as the paws that refreshes. And if watching cute little puppies bounding around a mini-stadium isn’t an appealing TV option, perhaps the Hallmark Channel’s special event, beginning at 6 p.m. ET, will do the trick: It’s Kitten Bowl III.

Watch the Super Bowl live, but record this for later. This Showtime documentary series, following candidates on the campaign trail, has been fascinating so far, and will be especially lively this week, given the New Hampshire debates leading up to next week’s primary.

Matthew Goode, as Henry Talbot, returns to Downton Abbey this week, and back into Lady Mary’s life – or so he hopes. Meanwhile, Carson (Jim Carter) has to preside over something that’s not really in his nature: a Downton Abbey “open house.” Check local listings.

For the first time in TV history, a talk show gets the prime promotional spot right after the Super Bowl. The show getting the honor is CBS's Late Show, which tonight, will be an earlier show than usual. Expect Stephen Colbert not to waste the opportunity, either, so tune in. Time approximate after football.
