We've seen three episodes of HBO's April 15 arrival "Girls," and it's good. Raw, painfully funny, awkwardly real -- yup, good. Lena Dunham creates and stars in this half-hour slice of life about four twentysomething NYC girlfriends who are definitely NOT Sex and the City material. -DW

After one day at the Masters, the big names – Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson (pictured), Rory McIlroy – are still around, but not at the top. The weather is supposed to clear for day two, and as the cut is made, the field will be made a bit more clear as well. For a perspective on this year’s tournament, see TVWW contributor Gerald Jordan’s new Crossing Jordan column.

Any time Anna Torv, on this show, is sporting long reddish brown hair, that means we’re watching the “other” Olivia. And this week, we meet a new alternate-reality doppelganger as well. By now, after all the recent cross-universe traveling by lookalike characters, it’s safe to say the doppelgang’s all here.

(Check Local Listings) On tonight’s performance from the intimate Lincoln Center Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse, opera singer Renee Fleming rocks out. Really. She performs songs from her recent indie rock album, Dark Hope, as well as other pieces – including Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 and John Kander’s A Letter from Sullivan Ballou, a musical version of a famous moment from Ken Burns’ The Civil War. Also singing: Josh Groban.

Now that Once Upon a Time is a hit on ABC, and dueling versions of Snow White are vying for attention in movie theaters, here’s a good time to revisit this 2007 musical comedy that predated and prefigured them all. It also introduced us to Amy Adams, perfectly cast as an animated Disney princess come to life – in modern-day Manhattan.

SERIES PREMIERE: The set design of this new Starz series, set in Miami in 1959, is dazzling. Unfortunately, the acting is not, and the writing is worse. So this is a warning, not a recommendation – but, like televised parades, it’s beautiful to watch with the sound off. For a review, see today’s Bianculli’s Blog.

The new Starz series "Magic City," premiering Friday night at 10 ET, stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the owner of a flashy Miami Beach hotel in 1959 -- they got the look just right. With equal assurance, however, I can say they got everything else just wrong...

Last year at Augusta National Golf Club, young Rory McIlroy (at left) crashed and burned in the final round of the Masters, bogeying away a four-stroke lead and finishing with an 8-over-par 80, including a soul-crushing triple bogey on the 10th hole. He has a lot to prove this week. So does Phil Mickelson, who has earned three Green Jackets to date – if he wins this week, he would tie Tiger Woods’ career total of Masters wins, at four. And Tiger himself? He hasn’t won a major t

Tonight, this geek sitcom lands its ultimate guest star: Stephen Hawking. Expect this episode to be relatively amusing – in more ways than one.

James Cameron is re-releasing Titanic in 3-D this week, and has just returned from a solo visit to the ocean’s deepest trench. This, then, is a perfect time to revisit the 1989 movie that prefigured both of those undersea passions. Ed Harris and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio star in a story of ocean explorers and rescue divers drawn, for various reasons, to unknown and previously unexplored depths. Some of the special effects used in this film were unprecedented, but Cameron’s directio
