There’s nothing like an outdoor Requiem Mass to make a summer night slip away – and for this particular evening of TV entertainment, Verdi’s Requiem is performed onstage at the cavernous Hollywood Bowl, featuring soprano Julianna Di Giacomo and those home-town faves, the Los Angeles Philharmonic. “Five Years” is the name of the opening track on David Bowie’s 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
