So it comes down to this: No. 1 seed North Carolina vs. No. 2 seed Villanova, two teams that notched decisive wins in their semifinal games to make it to tonight’s championship. I respect both teams, but my heart belongs to Villanova – because of their heart in coming back to win games throughout this tournament. The tipoff is scheduled for around 9:19 p.m. ET – and if you’re looking for it on CBS, don’t. The finals are shown on TBS this year – the first time

I have a month of Better Call Saul to catch up on, as soon as I finish my book (writing, not reading it). But in the meantime, I know tonight’s is another episode which focuses on Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmentraut, which bodes well…

You could look at The Story of God With Morgan Freeman as a sequel to The Bucket List. Smashing up expensive racing cars with Jack Nicholson is fun and all that, but what happens, you know, next?...

Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan co-host the awards again this year, which is the 51st performance-filled gala, broadcast live from Las Vegas. At least two judges from TV’s musical- competition shows will be among the country artists performing tonight: Keith Urban from Fox’s American Idol, and Blake Shelton (pictured) from NBC’s The Voice.

SEASON FINALE: Last week’s episode with a blood-spattered camera lens and the cliffhanger fear that Daryl (Norman Reedus) had just been shot dead by Dwight. Well, I haven’t seen tonight’s season finale, but there’s no way Daryl is dead. Shot, yes. And someone is quite likely to die tonight, yes. But not Daryl. Never Daryl. And this should be the expanded episode introducing Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, a long-awaited adversary from the original Walking Dead graphic novel

SEASON FINALE: Last week’s episode had so many emotional confrontations, several cast members could submit the episode as their personal reel for Emmy consideration. And tonight, in the season finale, we have a shot at Fiona’s wedding, and also the probability that her father Frank, having just paid for a hit on Fiona’s intended, may bring a potential killer into the wedding party.

The gang goes to see Adam’s play – but not necessarily together, and with enough baggage and mutual misunderstandings that the biggest drama is not likely to be on the stage.

Last week, Axe emerged triumphantly, despite all the enemies and subplots circling around him. Tonight, he’s not likely to be so lucky. The sharks still are circling, but tonight, there’s blood in the water.

The Final Four is here, or are here. Two games, both on TBS, deciding which two teams will play in Monday’s 2016 NCAA men’s basketball championship final – and they’re both exciting matchups. At 6 p.m. ET, it’s two No. 2 seeds, Oklahoma vs. Villanova. Oklahoma has exceptional player Buddy Hield, but Villanova, in getting to this point, toppled No. 1 seed Kansas. Next up, at 8:45 p.m. ET, is North Carolina vs. Syracuse. North Carolina is the only remaining No. 1 seed

This 1972 movie is another one that pulls me in every time – I call them spider-web films. A beautiful realization of the allegorical novel by James Dickey, this 1972 John Boorman movie is about a Deep South canoe trip that tests its four suburban friends more than they could imagine. Jon Voight stars, Ned Beatty steals scenes, and Burt Reynolds delivers the best role of his entire career. The photography is beautiful. The plot is ugly.
