If the family’s around for the holiday weekend, there’s no better family TV show around which to gather tonight than this new hit series from NBC, in which Steve Harvey showcases, and chats with, tiny kids with big talents. This show is executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, which explains its warm and friendly tone. And also explains why you should give it a try, especially on this particular weekend. A repeat episode is televised at 7 p.m. ET, followed by a new episode at 8 ET.

Once again, The Good Wife presents a case involving cutting-edge technology and its legal impact. Tonight’s story involves a therapist who sues someone who has been sending a camera-equipped drone to hover around his at-home office. Try that at my place right now, and all you’ll get are shots of an amazingly cluttered at-home office. And kitchen. And living room. And…

This is the penultimate episode of Season 6 – and if previous seasons are any indication, this is an episode where we may well lose a beloved regular character. Maybe it’s wrong to expect the unexpected, but so far on The Walking Dead, that’s been part of the pattern. And in this episode, Carol has left the safety of Alexandria, and Daryl is determined to find her. Whatever happens, this second-half burst of episodes has been especially intense, and impressive.

Tonight’s episode involves a road trip to Vegas by Richie and Zak (Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano) – on a quest to sign Elvis Presley to the Alibi label. If you haven’t been watching Vinyl, don’t be confused. It’s a period drama about the record industry in the 1970s – so at this point in the story, Elvis has yet to leave the proverbial building. By the way, the episode’s clever title? “The King and I.”

Tonight’s regional finals, broadcast live by CBS, are two games that have one at least one major thing in common: Both games feature the two top teams in their quarter of the tournament bracket. At 6 p.m. ET, it’s No. 1 Oregon vs. No. 2 Oklahoma in the West regional final. Then, at 8:45 ET, it’s No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 2 Villanova, in the South regional final.

It’s an Easter weekend ABC tradition: presenting this 1956 biblical epic, starring Charlton Heston as Moses, and featuring one of cinema’s most famous special-effects sequences since the original King Kong. Spoiler Alert: The Red Sea is parted.

I liked the Dave Clark Five when they were churning out hits in the 1960s, but I knew nothing about them, or even which side of the British Invasion they were on, other than that the lead singer of the band also was the drummer, a rarity then and since (Phil Collins aside). In this two-hour Great Performance special, you can learn all about them, and revisit their music. Which, I predict, will make you feel “Glad All Over.” Or, maybe, in “Bits and Pieces.” Check local lis

When I teach Film Appreciation at Rowan University, one of the full-length silent movies I always show is this 1927 Buster Keaton film – which, I’m proud to report, holds the attention of today’s young college students quite thoroughly. Chalk it up to the humor, and the acting, and the Civil War setting, and the large-scale action sequences involving an old locomotive and a young train engineer – only one of which is called The General.

I haven’t seen this 2015 documentary profile – but Chris Farley exploded so quickly onto the comedy scene, and died so young, that he deserves a closer look. Many people, I’m guessing, have their own favorite Farley movie, or Saturday Night Live sketch. Mine is the SNL sketch where he played a diehard fan interviewing Paul McCartney. I loved Farley’s clueless enthusiasm – and, you can tell by watching it, so did McCartney. I hope it’s included here…
