SERIES PREMIERE: Hulu is presenting new episodes of this gripping, disturbing drama miniseries on a weekly basis, so if you were drawn to and impressed by last week’s premiere, as I was, remember to watch the next new installment today. Patricia Arquette stars as Dee Dee, who has a very protective relationship with her infirm daughter Gypsy (Joey King). It’s like a thematic sequel to HBO’s Sharp Objects, and is just as forcefully acted.

SERIES PREMIERE: If you saw the 2014 comedy vampire film of the same name, you know what to expect here. Otherwise, you’re in for a delightful surprise. The movie starred, and was written and directed by, Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, who played vampires in New Zealand tolerating each other, barely, while living the undead life in modern-day Wellington. For the series, there are new stars, and a new locale – Staten Island – but the faux documentary approach is just as funn

SEASON FINALE: The last Documentary Now! of the season brings its own spin to the bowling documentary, as exemplified by 2006’s A League of Ordinary Gentlemen. And in what may be the most enjoyable bowling outing since The Big Lebowski, the featured “bowler” in tonight’s program is played by… Michael C. Hall.  It’s Dexter in the lanes! Cleanup on Aisle Five!

This 2016 movie, written and directed by the Coen Brothers, is a valentine to Hollywood -- but one which, like the film spoofs by Mel Brooks, takes deadly aim at the same movie conventions it adores. With Hail, Caesar!, whose plot covers an entire studio sound stage, the   comedy covers everything from gladiator and biblical epics (cue George Clooney!) to singing sailors, with outrageously overt gay subtext. And what a cast: In addition to Clooney, this Coen Brothers comedy features Jo

In these second-round March Madness games, it’s always fun to seek out the surviving double-digit seeds. They’ve already defied the odds, and their higher-ranked opponents, by winning their first game – and now, emboldened by that success, have the opportunity to score another bracket-bending upset. Today, that possibility exists with the first televised game of the afternoon, when CBS begins coverage with its noon ET broadcast of No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 10 Iowa. Other games co
